Functional Safety Manager (m/f/d)

Our Client

An internationally operating company in the semiconductor industry develops innovative system-on-chip solutions for the automotive sector. The focus lies on high-performance and safety-critical SoC architectures for advanced mobility applications.

Your Challenge

• You coordinate and drive functional safety activities for automotive semiconductor products according to ISO26262
• You collaborate closely with architecture, hardware and systems teams to develop safety-compliant SoC solutions
• You create and review safety analyses such as FMEDA, FMEA, DFA and FTA throughout the development lifecycle
• You support requirements engineering and traceability across hardware and system levels
• You actively contribute to improving functional safety methods, processes and development standards

Your Profile

• You hold a degree in electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable field
• You have solid experience in functional safety within semiconductor, automotive or embedded systems environments
• You possess strong knowledge of ISO26262 and hardware-related safety methodologies
• You are familiar with safety and requirements management tools such as Medini, APIS IQ-FMEA, Polarion or DOORS
• You have experience working in international development environments and are fluent in English
