The Role

As our (Junior) Business Manager, you will be the operational powerhouse of our ecosystem. You will ensure that processes run smoothly, numbers talk, and strategic decisions are backed by solid data and analysis. You will report directly to the executive management, keeping our various projects, events, and operations aligned and highly efficient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Operations: Independently plan, implement, and optimize business processes and cross-functional projects across the brand.
  • Finance & Controlling: Conduct revenue and profit analyses, manage liquidity, and deliver regular financial reporting to executive management.
  • Interface Management: Act as the central communication hub between management, financial accounting, tax advisors, HR, and project leads.
  • Market & Performance Analysis: Continuously monitor industry trends and prepare data-driven analysis and decision templates for leadership.
  • Resource & Budget Planning: Efficiently allocate personnel, materials, and budgets in close alignment with department heads and team leaders.

Who You Are

  • Based in Berlin: You already live in Berlin and are looking for a hybrid workspace setting.
  • Education: Degree in Business Administration, Business Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in controlling, business development, or project management—ideally within an agile, creative, entertainment, or music industry environment.
  • Technical & Industry Skills: Strong knowledge of process optimization and budgeting. Proficiency with modern CRM and ERP systems. An affinity for AI tools and a foundational understanding of the electronic music landscape are big pluses.
  • Soft Skills: Strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and a structured, solution-oriented workflow.
  • Languages: Professional fluency in both German and English (written and spoken) is required.

What We Offer

  • A Unique Environment: Work at the very heart of the Berlin and international music scene, directly collaborating with artists, labels, and creative minds.
  • Ownership from Day 1: No corporate red tape, short decision-making paths, and a direct impact on our growth.
  • Flat Hierarchies: An open, honest culture with short communication lines and a team that genuinely supports one another.
  • Berlin Location & Flexibility: Central Berlin office and studio location with flexible working hours and a hybrid work setup.
  • Growth: Investment in your development through workshops, industry events, and access to our extensive music network.
